I’ve been wondering about this for a while, so I figured I’d ask here. Has anyone found ad networks where adult ads can actually run without going through super strict approval processes?
I’m not talking about anything shady, just regular adult-related campaigns. It just seems like most mainstream ad networks either reject them instantly or put you through a long approval process that never really goes anywhere.
When I first started testing traffic for adult-related offers, I honestly assumed it would be similar to running ads for other niches. But pretty quickly I realized that wasn’t the case. Platforms that work fine for things like finance or e-commerce usually have very strict policies when it comes to adult content. Even when they say it’s allowed, there are often so many restrictions that campaigns rarely get approved.
That’s where the frustration kicked in for me. I spent quite a bit of time setting up campaigns, writing ad copy, and creating banners, only to have them rejected during moderation. Sometimes the feedback was vague, and sometimes there was no explanation at all. After a few attempts like that, it started to feel like trial and error more than anything.
What eventually helped was focusing on networks that are already known for supporting adult-friendly traffic. Instead of trying to force campaigns onto platforms that clearly aren’t comfortable with the niche, it makes more sense to work with ad networks that openly allow it.
While digging through different communities and discussions, I came across a few mentions of networks that handle adult ads more smoothly. Some people suggested that smaller or niche ad platforms tend to be more flexible with approvals compared to the big mainstream ones. That makes sense when you think about it, since those networks are already designed to support these kinds of campaigns.
I also noticed that approval tends to be easier when the ad creatives are straightforward and not overly aggressive. Simple banners and clear landing pages seemed to pass moderation more often than flashy or exaggerated ones.
During my research, I also stumbled across this page discussing options for running adult ads. It gave me a better idea of how some ad networks approach the niche and what advertisers should expect before launching campaigns.
Overall, my takeaway so far is that the key isn’t necessarily finding a “loophole” in strict networks. It’s more about choosing platforms that already support adult advertising from the start. That alone seems to remove a lot of the friction.
I’m still experimenting with different traffic sources though. If anyone here has had good experiences running adult campaigns on certain networks, I’d honestly be interested to hear what worked for you.
