Navigating the transition from the arrivals hall to the coastal resorts can be the most tiring part of any Cyprus trip. After researching the local transport, it seems the ride takes about 50 minutes via the A3 motorway, but the experience varies wildly depending on how you book. While official taxis are available at the rank, the pricing often fluctuates based on the time of day, and during the busy season, the wait times under the sun can be quite brutal. Has anyone here booked a taxi from larnaca to Protaras in advance lately? I’m leaning towards using GetTransfer because it removes the guesswork of "on-the-spot" haggling. Being able to secure a fixed price for the 65km journey and having a driver waiting with a name sign just feels like a much more civilized way to start a holiday. On my last visit to the island, I noticed that pre-arranged transfers often use much newer, air-conditioned vehicles compared to the random ones at the airport stand. If you want to skip the queues and head straight to Fig Tree Bay without any stress, a private booking seems like the smartest move. Any specific driver recommendations for this route?
